What is Sphag Sorb?

• A lightweight, biodegradable, industrial oil that is absorbent more economical, more efficient, and easier to use than conventional absorbents
• A non-toxic, non-abrasive, natural product manufactured from sphagnum peat moss, originating in the bogs of Canada
• Peat in its natural state, the first step in the formation of coal and oil, and a little more than a particle decomposition of mosses in their biodegradable state
• Peat is dehydrated to a moisture content of 0% to 10%, then activated into a high grade of material with a strong affinity to encapsulate oils and organic solvents
