Houseboat 602 was rebuilt in August 2002. It was built to accommodate up to 40 persons.

1. Safety features
• 8 hose reels for fire fighting one located at each corner of every floor of the barge. Hoses powered by a dedicated high pressure water pump.
• Fire extinguishers in each room
• Mercury automatic Sprinkler system connected to the whole barge
• Smoke alarms in each room
• Life vests for every occupant
• Life Rings all around the barge
